CONCORD- Mrs. Jacqueline (Strickford) Dyment, 91, of Pembroke and Concord, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2018 in the care of the Merrimack County Nursing Home.
Born in Suncook, Jacqueline was the daughter of the late Otis and Ida (Gionet) Strickford. She was raised and educated in Pembroke and was a graduate of Pembroke Academy Class of 1944.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a service clerk for Sears and later worked as a receptionist for Dr. Boucher’s office and as a file clerk for the Concord Clinic. She enjoyed reading, baking, sewing, knitting and gardening.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 69 years, Robert E. Dyment, who passed away in June, 2017 and her brothers, Emery and Richard Strickford.
She is survived by her children, Brenda Dyment of Concord, Leslie Dyment of Concord, Gregg Dyment of Phoenix, AZ and Robert W. Dyment of Epsom. Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
