EPSOM- Mr. Wayne A. LaFleur, 86, of Epsom, passed away suddenly on August 4, 2021 at Concord Hospital.
Born in Concord, Wayne was the son of the late Roland F. and Marjory L. (Ferris) LaFleur. He was raised and educated in Epsom and was a graduate of Pembroke Academy, where he met his beloved wife of 66 years. He later attended Concord Community College.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed as an underwriter for Concord Group Insurance, a position he held for 19 years. He was also employed by Oxygon Industries in parts ordering.
Wayne was past president of the Ft. Mountain Trailwinders. He also enjoyed golfing, bowling, gardening and tending to his property. Volunteering was a large part of his life and he selflessly gave of himself to others through making blankets for local hospitals and as a longtime member of the Light-Hearted Club. He participated in many charitable shows at the local Odd Fellows Home. Wayne always opened his home for a card game and enjoyed hosting many parties at his beloved home. Wayne always loved a good joke and always had a joke for every occasion.
Wayne was predeceased by three daughters, Kimberly LaFreniere and Lori and Lynn LaFleur and his three brothers, Roland, Robert and Earl LaFleur.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Janice (Poisson) LaFleur; his son, Alan LaFleur and his wife Patricia of Allenstown, six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 21st from 10 to 11 A.M. in the Still Oaks Funeral & Memorial Home 1217 Suncook Valley Highway in Epsom. A Celebration of His Life will follow at 11 A.M.
