MANCHESTER – Todd E. Nixon, 49, of Manchester, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at his residence following complications of COVID 19.
Born on April 2, 1971 in Pittsfield, MA; he was the son of Sharon Jandrow of Amherst, MA and the late Robert E. Nixon.
As a youth, Todd was active in Scouting and attained the rank of Eagle Scout. Todd was educated in the local schools, graduating from Wahconah Regional High School and went on to graduate from UMASS Amherst with his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering. He was employed for over 19 years as a Tech Support Manager for Tactical Software and was recently working as a bartender for Castro’s in Manchester. He enjoyed playing pinball, especially against his mother and even competed in tournaments. Todd was a beer aficionado, an avid reader, and dungeons and dragon’s player.
Besides his mother he is survived by his brother, Eric Nixon and his wife Kari Chapin Nixon of Edmonds, Washington as well as numerous friends and colleagues.
