Raymond Ford Obituary

Raymond E. Ford, 75, of Pembroke, beloved husband of Billie (Edwards) Ford, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2024. He was born on July 6, 1948 in Concord and was the son of the late Frederick and Margaret (McNally) Ford.

Ray attended Pembroke Academy before honorably serving in the U.S. Navy. He worked at Sprague Electric for 20 years and then retired from General Electric after 25 + years. Anyone who knew Ray, knew that he was a man of few words and liked his simple, small-town life, never venturing too far from home. He was a huge sports fan and an even bigger Red Sox fan, just like his mom.

In addition to his wife Billie of 51 years, Raymond is survived by his two daughters: Melissa Dobbin and her husband Kenneth, Darci Parker and her husband Shawn; his two brothers: Frederick Ford and his wife Clista, Robert Ford; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Raymond is predeceased by his brother: George Ford.

Raymond’s burial was private and held at New Hampshire State Veteran’s Cemetery in Boscawen. Roan Family Funeral Home, 167 Main St, Pembroke assisted the family with arrangements.
