Pauline L. Rainville

PEMBROKE – Pauline L. Rainville, 85, of Pembroke, passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2022 at Epsom Manor following a period of declining health.

Born on May 2, 1937 in Manchester, she was the daughter of the late Lucien and Charlotte (Gagnon) LaPlante.

Pauline was very involved with her children and her church community; she spent years working with the scouts both girl scouts and boy scouts as well as the Catholic Committee of scouting. She was a large supporter of the La Salette Missionaries as well as a longtime member of the Ladies of Ste Anne. She enjoyed her trips to camp in Belmont on Lake Winnisquam, going for boat rides, sewing, reading and taking shopping trips.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, George Rainville in 2008.

She is survived by her children, Normand Rainville and his wife Donna of Plymouth, Dennis Rainville and his wife Edie of Nashua, Jean-Marie Fife and her husband Brian of Pembroke and André Rainville and his wife Kathleen of Gilmanton, sister, Suzanne Hilliard of Londonderry, eight grandchildren, Ryanne Graff, Richard Owen and his wife Christian, Becky Temple, Seth Hill and his wife Karen, Lindsay Gallant and her husband Dan, Tyler Rainville and his wife Christina, Ian Fife and his wife Sarah and Jessica McIntyre and her husband John, 17 great grandchildren, two nephews, Brian Hilliard and his wife Nancy and Sean Hillard and his wife Tasha.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 9th, 2023 from 4PM-6PM at the Roan Family Funeral Home, 167 Main Street, Pembroke. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 10th, 2023 at 10AM at St. John the Baptist Church on School Street in Allenstown. Following cremation interment will take place in the spring at St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Allenstown.
