Kathleen (Howe) Adams

EPSOM- Mrs. Kathleen (Howe) Adams, 79, of Epsom, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family in the care of the Granite VNA Hospice House on July 21, 2022.

Born in Franklin, Kathleen was the daughter of the late George F. and Kathleen M. (Huntoon) Howe.  She was raised and educated in Franklin and had been a resident of Epsom for the past 28 years.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a senior clerk and trainer for Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield.  After retiring from Anthem she continued working by following her love of plants, flowers, and encouraging things to grow by working at the Osborne Agway's greenhouse and then their office.

Kathleen enjoyed sewing, wooden craftwork and making toys for her grandchildren.  She also enjoyed quilting, cooking, loved the ocean and loved life.  Above all else, “Grammy” loved taking care of her grandchildren.

Kathleen was predeceased by her sisters: Nancy J. Howe, Mary A. Moran and Roberta H. Mandrey.

She is survived by her two daughters: Meg Harris and her husband Chip of Laconia and Ely Robertson and her husband Rob of Newport.  She was the loving Grammy to Nathaniel and Sarah Cadorette, Jordan Harris and Timothy and Michael Osborne.  She was the Great Grammy to Dyson and Riley Malone.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday, July 29th from 11 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. in the Roan Family Funeral Home – Still Oaks Chapel, 1217 Suncook Valley Highway in Epsom.  A Celebration of Her Life will follow at 12:30 P.M.  Burial will be in Blossom Hill Cemetery in Concord.  In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be sent to Granite VNA Hospice House, 30 Pillsbury St. Concord, NH 03301.  To share a memory or offer a condolence, please visit www.roanfamilyfuneral.com
