HOOKSETT- Mr. John Hybsch, 92, of Hooksett, passed away at the Epsom Healthcare Center with his daughter by his side on May 28, 2023 after a short period of declining health.
Born in Manchester, Jack was the son of the late William A. and Margaret (Dwyer) Hybsch. He was raised and educated in Manchester and was a graduate of St. Joseph’s High School. He went on to attend St. Anselm’s College, where he graduated with his Bachelor’s Degree in Education.
Following graduation, Jack began his teaching career at Wilton High School, where he remained for two years. He went on to Appleton Academy for the next two years before matriculating to Winnesquam Regional High School, where he would remain for the next 28 years.
He was a faithful communicant of Holy Rosary Parish in Hooksett.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Dorothy (Duffy) as well as his siblings: William and Hubert Hybsch and Patricia Nobert.
Jack is survived by his daughter, Mary Beth Dufresne and her husband Scott of Manchester, CT, his two grandsons, Jack and Jason as well as many nieces and nephews.
Mary Beth would like to thank all the medical staff who cared for her father, neighbors in NH and close friends both in NH and CT who have helped her and her father over the last few years. Their kindness and generosity is greatly appreciated.
In accordance with his wishes, there will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 2nd at 11:30 A.M. in Holy Rosary Church, Hooksett. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Concord. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jack’s memory may be sent to the Hooksett Community Food Pantry, 35 Main St. Hooksett, NH 03106.
