PITTSFIELD- Mr. Joel A. Pelletier, Sr., 64, of Pittsfield, passed away at the Concord Hospital on January 4, 2022 after a period of declining health.
Born in Millinocket, Maine, he was the son of the late Joseph J. and Priscilla M. (Charette) Pelletier. He was raised and educated in Maine and resided there for most of his life before moving to New Hampshire ten years ago.
An honorably discharged veteran, Joel served in the United States Army from February of 1976 to February of 1979.
Prior to his retirement, Joel worked as a truck driver and was also employed in the paper mills of Maine.
He enjoyed leather working and loved his classic tv shows. Above all else, he cherished time spent with his family.
He was predeceased by his siblings: Bernadette Nice, Theresa McKeen and Roger Pelletier.
Joel is survived by his wife of 45 years, Debbie (Deloge) Pelletier; his three children: Joel A. Pelletier, Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Westbrook, ME, Danielle Ryan and her husband Devin of Pittsfield and Matthew Pelletier and his wife Kate of Oakland, ME. He was the loving grandfather to Jaina, Jillian and Jameson Pelletier, Kolbey, Keegan and Laney Ryan and Mackenzie and Bernard Pelletier. He is also survived by his siblings, Claudette Philbrook, Linda Campbell, Jimmy Pelletier and Patsy Morrow as well as many nieces and nephews.
