CONCORD – Jeffrey E. Parmenter, 76, of Concord, passed away at his residence on Friday, June 11, 2021.
Born on September 20, 1944 in Hanover, NH, he was the son of the late Robert and Eleanor (Patten) Parmenter.
Jeffrey was educated in the local schools, a graduate of Concord High School class of 1962 and went on to serve his country in the United States Army until 1967. He worked for many years as a Machine Operator for what was once Weeks Dairy then Crowley dairy and is now Hood. After retiring from Hood he worked for many years as a prescription delivery driver for Neighbor Care, driving throughout the state of NH. He was a collector of coins and cars, always taking great pride in keeping his cars detailed. Time spent going to antique car shows, car auctions and model cars were a favorite pastime. Jeffrey was a social person and could be found at McDonalds for his morning coffee with friends. A family man, he was humble and very dedicated to his relationship with his wife.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Judy Tyno.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon (Magoon) Parmenter of Concord, daughter, Teri Bedell and her husband Rick of Lancaster, stepdaughters, Michelle Thiem of Concord and Pamela Shaw of Schenectady, NY, grandchildren, Kaiden Bedell, Emerson Bedell, Alyssa Thiem, Ethan Thiem and his wife Felicia, great grandchildren, Oliver Rodrick, Ryleigh and Liam Thiem.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 21, 2021 at 1:30pm at New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery. The Petit-Roan Funeral Home in Pembroke is assisting the family with arrangements. To share a memory or offer a condolence please visit www.petitroan.com
