James F. "Jim" Powers

ALLENSTOWN- Mr. James F. "Jim" Powers, 66, of Allenstown, passed away unexpectedly at home on May 4, 2021. 

Born in Worcester, MA, he was the son of the late John and Catherine (Connor) Powers.  He was raised and educated in Salem, NH, and had been a resident of Allenstown for the past 19 years.

Jim retired from Advanced Reproductions where he was employed for 28 years. He loved being outside, where he spent time working in his yard and camping.  He was an avid Ham Radio Operator, with the handle “N1TOB.”  He enjoyed watching sports, especially sports his grandchildren were involved in. 

Jim is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years Paula (Russell); his son Paul A. Powers and his wife Lisa of Hooksett; his siblings; Paul Powers of St. Augustine, FL, Catherine Girard of Winter Haven, FL and John E. Powers of Springhill, FL. Jim was a proud grandfather to his two grandchildren, Trenton and Caleb and also leaves several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A walk-through visitation will be held in the Petit-Roan Funeral Home, 167 Main St. in Pembroke on Wednesday May 12th from 6 to 8 P.M.  Attendees are kindly asked to wear a face covering and adhere to social distancing.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim’s memory may be sent to the American Diabetes Association P.O.
