Francene S. Brown

NORTHWOOD- Francene S. (Walker) Brown, 48, of Northwood, died unexpectedly at Concord Hospital on November 8, 2019 after an unexpected illness.

 Francene was born in Lancaster, NH on December 5, 1970, the daughter of Sharon (Savage) Welch (step-father) Merlyn John Welch and (father) Richard Walker, Jr. She was raised in Groveton and was a graduate of Groveton High School.

 Francene was employed as a business administrator for the New Hampshire Dept. of Health and Human Services for over 20 years.

 She enjoyed traveling, RVing and shopping and loved spending time with her family and friends. Her number one priority was being a mom.

 Francene is survived by her mother, Sharon Welch of Groveton, her son, Hunter Brown of Northwood, Hunter’s father and her former husband, Matthew Brown of Epsom; three sisters, Paula Harris and her husband Wade of Clarksville, TN, Celena Davenport and her husband Dan of Whitefield and Kim Randall and her husband Rob of Littleton, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her father Richard Walker, Jr. in 1987 and her step-father, Merlyn John Welch in 2018.

 A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at 1:00pm at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton, Fr. Timothy Brooks of the St. Paul’s Episcopal Church officiating.
