Daniel K. Higgins

LOUDON – Daniel K. Higgins, 33, of Loudon passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 3, 2023 in Loudon. Born in Concord, NH on April 6, 1990 the son of Donald Higgins and Mary (Stanley) Stutzman.

Daniel was one of the first graduating classes of the Merrimack Valley Charter School. He owned and operated DKH Mobile Repairs. Daniel enjoyed working as a mechanic and could fix anything with a motor. A talented artist he also enjoyed any outdoor activity especially hiking, canoeing and kayaking. You could often find him playing his guitar or launching into one of his comic routines complete with funny faces.

His love of animals showed over the years with his care and compassion of his dogs, Spot, Dresel, Bindy and Onyx.

Danny was a huge presence in any room he entered and will be sadly missed.

Daniel was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Barabra (Standish) and John W. Stanley, Jr. and paternal grandparents, Franklin and Shirley (Fife) Higgins.

He leaves mom and dad; best friend and sister, Katie Morrill and her significant other, Ed Renzoula of Gilmanton; brothers, David Potter and his wife, Shannon of Concord and Matthew Potter of Allenstown; nieces, Alaina, Olivia, Kadence and Molly; nephews, Lennox, Hayden, Jaxon and Conner and several aunts and uncles.

Daniel always felt that the Merrimack Valley Charter School saved him from dropping out of school. The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made in Daniel’s honor to CSI Charter School c/o Arts Program, 26 Washington St. Penacook, NH 03303.
