Carol A. Coad

PENACOOK- Mrs. Carol A. Coad, 77, of Penacook, passed away on May 23, 2021 in the Merrimack County Nursing Home after a period of declining health.

Born in Concord, Carol was the daughter of the late Dorothy M. Curtis.  She was raised and educated in Concord.

Prior to her retirement, Carol was employed by Northern Telecom and Concord Savings Bank where she worked as a telephone operator.

She enjoyed crocheting and knitting and was an avid animal lover, especially to cats and dogs.

She was predeceased by her son, Eric Coad, her brother, Robert Summers and her sister, Janice Griffith.

Carol is survived by her husband of 59 years, Leslie R. Coad of Penacook; her siblings, Sharon Heinemann of Epsom, Rita Blanchette of Concord, Joyce Egounis of Concord, Virginia Crowe of Allenstown and John Summers of Pittsfield. Sister-in-laws Nancy Krauz of Franklin and Laurie Breton of Concord, brother-in-law George Coad of Concord and several nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held in Blossom Hill Cemetery in Concord on Thursday, June 3rd at 1 P.M.  Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.  Assisting the family with arrangements is the Petit-Roan Funeral Home in Pembroke.  To share a memory or offer a condolence, please visit www.petitroan.com
