Stephen J. McNamara

DEERFIELD- Stephen J. McNamara, 66 of Deerfield, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2017 at his residence with his family by his side.

Born on August 6, 1951 in Revere, MA he was the son of the late Robert and Helen (O’Hara) McNamara.

Stephen worked for 18 years as a cement truck driver until his retirement. He enjoyed music and playing the guitar, hunting and archery as well as wood carving were some things he was extremely skilled with.

Besides his parents, Stephen was predeceased by his brother, Dennis McNamara.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Maria (Giannetti) McNamara of Deerfield, children, Stephen (Mitchell) McNamara and his wife Tammy of Townsend, MA, Gina Leblanc and her husband Jason of Deerfield, Michael McNamara and his wife Brittney of North Berwick, ME, brother, Michael McNamara and his wife Debra of Derry, sister, Susan McNamara of Cape Cod, grandchildren, Zach, Carson, James, Harmony, Parker, Addison and Lydia as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Following cremation, services will be held at the convenience of the family. Donations in Stephen’s memory may be made to Rockingham VNA & Hospice, 137 Epping Road, Exeter, NH 03833.
