LOUDON- Ryan A. Christie, 22, of Loudon, passed away on June 16, 2019 from injuries sustained in a car accident.
Born at Concord Hospital, Ryan was the beloved son of Marc and Cindy (Brown) Christie of Epsom. He grew up in Pembroke and was a graduate of the Pembroke Academy Class of 2015. He lived in Loudon with four friends prior to his passing.
Ryan was employed since 2015 as a security officer with Securitas Security Services, posted at the NH National Guard base in Concord.
Ryan loved music and movies and he had a talent for drawing and writing. He enjoyed hiking with friends, amusement park rides, swimming, and playing video games. He camped for many summers with family at White Lake State Park. Ryan also had a love for animals, especially his two cats and his roommate’s cat. He was also fortunate to have traveled with family and friends to Marco Island, Hawaii, and the Dominican Republic.
Ryan will be remembered for his quirky sense of humor, his smile, his compassion, and his love for family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Ryan is survived by his sister, Lauren Christie of Epsom; his paternal grandparents, James and Barbara Christie of Concord; his Step Grandmother, Kathleen Brown of Tewksbury as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Albert Brown and MaryJane Stone.
Calling Hours will be held on Sunday, June 23rd from 11 A.M. to 3 P.M. in the Still Oaks Funeral & Memorial Home 1217 Suncook Valley Highway in Epsom. A Celebration of His Life will be held on Monday, June 24th at 11 A.M. in Grace Capital Church, 542 Pembroke St. in Pembroke. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Pembroke.
