EPSOM- Ronald E. Miaskiewicz, 74, of Epsom, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family in the care of the Concord Hospice House on December 19, 2018.
Born in Salem, MA, Ron was the son of the late Edmund and Lucille (Pelletier) Miaskiewicz. He was raised and educated in Salem, MA before moving to Salem, NH, where he raised his family. He resided in Florida for a time before returning to New Hampshire.
Prior to his retirement, Ron was employed as a District Manager for Friendly’s, covering Northern Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire. He was later promoted to Regional Training Manager.
Always thinking of others before himself, Ron was very involved with the Easter Seals and had a special gift of working with disabled children.
He was a faithful and active member of Grace Capital Church in Pembroke, where he also belonged to the Men’s Group. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, gardening and birdwatching.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Donna (Kelley) Miaskiewicz. He was the loving father to Ronald Miaskiewicz, Jr. and his wife Lori of Tega Cay, SC, Lori Batts and her husband Mark of Hooksett, Jenna Mannino and her husband Peter of Indialantic, FL and Erik Miaskiewicz and his wife Jessica of Manchester. He was the grandfather to Connor and Bryce Miaskiewicz, Kasie, Nicholas and Tyler Serafin, Ryan and Caitlin Batts, Noah and Jaden Mannino and Becca, Fred, Robert and Henry Miaskiewicz. He also leaves his sister, Joan Quinlan of Peabody, MA and his brother, Frank Miaskiewicz of Georgetown, MA.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend A Celebration of Ron’s Life which will be held on Saturday, January 5th at 10 A.M. in the Grace Capital Church, 542 Pembroke St. in Pembroke. Those desiring to send flowers are kindly asked to omit lilies due to allergies.
