Patrick A. McConnell

CONCORD – Patrick A. "Mac" McConnell, 51, of Concord, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 12, 2019.

Born on November 17, 1967 in Garden Grove, CA, he was the son of James D. McConnell and Sally M. (Best) McConnell.  He was educated in the local schools, and eventually made his way to New Hampshire as fast as he could. Patrick was affectionately known as "Mac" by his fiancé, and "Giant" by his fiance's niece, whom he adored.  He enjoyed fishing, long drives to northern New Hampshire, working on cars,  and spending as much time with his fiancé as possible.

He was able to get a temporary position through an agency at Elektrisola in Boscawen, which later turned into a permanent position. He was very proud of his employment with them, and loved his job and coworkers.  

He is preceeded in death by his parents, James D. McConnell and Sally M. McConnell (Best), and brothers Tommy Mitchum and James K. McConnell.  He is survived by his Fiance, Amy Lyons of NH; children, Sean McConnell and Mary McConnell; his brother Jonny Mitchum of CO; sisters Sharon Burnette (Ross) of CA, Melody Urban (Gary) of WA, Cindy Dalati of WA, Amber Munden (Owen) of IL, Jami Hanley of IL; a niece Heather McHenry (Alan) of IL, who was like a sister to him; and several nieces and nephews.

There are no services scheduled at this time.  In lieu of flowers, his fiancé asks that a donation is made to a local food pantry/ charity of your choosing, especially during this holiday season.
