Meghan Fontaine Obituary

Meghan Miriah (Demers) Fontaine

Our beautiful Meghan passed from our embrace, on Wednesday, September 26th, taking her place in the heavens to watch over us, residing in our hearts and souls as the irreplaceable rainbow she was, from the moment she arrived. Born to Peter & Dawn Demers, at her family home in Loudon, Brandon’s little sister, on June 4, 1984 on a beautiful morning that evolved into a spectacular day, where a double rainbow appeared from a clear blue sky.

Meghan attended school at Merrimack Valley and went on to work in the hospitality industry. She dedicated her work self to Makris Lobster & Steak House and would be recognized as the smiling face many would see on a regular basis, a family, in and of itself.

She spent much of her time in Epsom, settling into her new home with her husband Jason and their kids, Kyleigh and Bryce, nestled in near her family and an amazing network of friends and neighbors. This was her pride and joy. Happy kids, gardening, softball, basketball in the front yard, anything that involved Jason and the kids was her first love and interest.

She leaves behind, everything and everyone including her loyal companion Bear. We are grateful that she left this world as she came into it, at home, snuggled into her bed, having drifted away in her sleep. Her selfless, kind, funny, hardworking, passionate, strong-willed presence was a joy to us then and is our foundational rock now. She will be missed, beyond what any words can portray, but can be found reflected in each of us who were lucky enough to be in her orbit.

Here to carry on, remains her husband, Jason Fontaine and children Kyleigh Dawn and Bryce Peter, father Peter Demers of Epsom, brother Brandon Demers and his fiancé Niki Valdez of Pembroke, their children Caitlyn and Cole, mother and stepfather Dawn & Earle Cate of Loudon and siblings Seth & Renda Cate of Gonic, their children Noah, Emma, Hallia, Gabe and Christopher, Elizabeth Cate of Hardwick, VT and Ella Cate & Kris Price of Virginia and their daughter Annaleigh, Jason’s mother Diane Fontaine of Concord and siblings, Shawn Fontaine of Concord, Randy & Wendy Fontaine of Epsom and their children Tyler and Kylee, Kelly & Sean Kennedy of Litchfield and their children Aidan and Evan, and her many aunts, uncles, cousins, close friends, colleagues and neighbors.

A service will be held on Saturday, October 6th at 12:00pm at the Still Oaks Funeral & Memorial Home, 1217 Suncook Valley Highway, Epsom.
Relatives and friends may gather prior to the service at 11:30am and following the service until 2:00pm. A celebration of life will be held
