Matthew R. Ashcraft

BELMONT- Matthew R. Ashcraft, 20, of Belmont, passed away on October 25, 2018.

Born in Nashua, Matt was the son of April (Wheeler) Duval of Concord. He was raised and educated in Concord and was a graduate of Hopkinton High School.

A hard-working man, Matt was employed as a Linesman for Eustis Cable Enterprises.

Matt enjoyed golfing, listening to music, videogames and sitting by the fire.  He is remembered as a fun-loving young man who cared for everyone around him.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his siblings: Corey Ashcraft, Shawn Ashcraft, Jacob Ashcraft, Victoria Ashcraft and Rebecca Ashcraft; his niece and nephew, Jade and Julius; his grandparents, Garry and Cathy Wheeler, as well as his foster family, Kurt, Sharon, Leo, Sierra and Sam Schuster.

A Celebration of Matt’s Life will be held on Monday, October 29th from 3 PM to 7 PM at the VFW in Concord, 6 Court St.  Assisting the family with arrangements is the Petit-Roan Funeral Home in Pembroke.  Donations in his memory may be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project.
