Lorraine K. (Davis) DeButts Rudd

WEST NOTTINGHAM – Mrs. Lorraine K. DeButts Rudd, 72, of West Nottingham, passed away on June 21, 2018 in the Concord Hospital after a period of declining health.

Born in Exeter, Lorraine was the daughter of Donald Gates and Shirley Gates (Pender). 

Prior to her retirement, Lorraine was employed as a shipper for American Traditional in Northwood.  She also lived in Hilton Head for a time with her husband where they flipped several homes together.

She enjoyed camping but above all, cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was predeceased by Richard DeButts, her son, Robert DeButts and her sister, Donna Gates.

She is survived by her beloved husband, William M. Rudd; her children: Laurie McPhee and her husband Frank of  Northwood and Richard DeButts, Jr. and his wife Sheri of Northwood; her stepchildren: William P. Rudd and his wife Kate of Deerfield, Ann Deschamps and her husband Timothy of Southborough, MA and Jeffrey Rudd and his wife Donna of Southborough, MA; her siblings: Carol Barrett of Epsom, Ronny Gates and his wife Patty of Epsom, Dicky Gates and his wife Jeannie of TN, Darlene Comeau and her husband Tim of Epsom, Gladys Gates of Epsom, Cindy Merrill of Epsom, Debbie Tisbert and her husband Dan of Deerfield, Ricky Gates and his wife Karen of Pittsfield, Billy Gates and his wife Charlene of Hillsboro, Donny Gates, Jr. and husband Steve Hall of Oregon and Reggie Gates and his wife Lynn of Farmington.  She was the loving grandmother to Sarah, Frank, Shawn, Casey, Makayla, Timothy, Matthew, Tiffany, William and Evan; and great grandmother to Sophia Aileah, Mckenzie, Keria, Frank, Lola and Elliot.

Calling Hours will be held on Thursday, June 28th from 4 to 7 P.M. at the Still Oaks Funeral & Memorial Home 1217 Suncook Valley Highway in Epsom.  Burial will take place at the convenience of the family.  To share a memory or offer a condolence, please visit www.stilloaks.com
