Patty and Edwin, I am so sorry for your loss. Visiting your home was always a highlight of our vacations. What I remember most was Aunt Lil's kindness and her smile. She never yelled at us when we came back from picking berries with little to show for it- she'd just ask if we'd like more than that meager cupful for our cereal, and send us back. Lillian always kept a protective eye on me after she saw me take a spill near her workstation. I still look over at her table when I'm out there, and imagine her saying "be careful". I'll miss her smile.
