Jeanne M. LeMay

NORWAY, SC – Jeanne M. LeMay, 89, of Norway, SC and formerly of Pembroke and Manchester, passed away peacefully at her son’s residence on Tuesday, September 19, 2017.

Born on February 8, 1928 in Manchester, she was the daughter of the late Ovide F. and Marie L. (Pellerin) Soucy.

Jeanne enjoyed gardening, both flowers and vegetables; spending time with her family and listening to music. She was also a member of the Ladies of Sainte Anne at St. John the Baptist Parish in Allenstown.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Albert LeMay in 2003; a daughter, Rachel Stone; a son-in-law Eric Alley; brother, Ernest Soucy and sisters, Rita Soucy and Claire Palys.

Members of her family include her children, Irene Kerr and her husband Butch of Florida, Annette Alley of Pembroke, George LeMay and his wife Patty of SC, Alfred LeMay and his wife Beth of SC, Lillian Hunt and her husband Richard of Warner, Jean LeMay of Pembroke and Albert LeMay of Pembroke; son-in-law, Randall Stone of NY, sister, Yvonne Ellison of Hudson.  She was the Memere’ to eleven grandchildren, Big Memere’ to eleven Great Grandchildren and two Great Great Grandchildren with another arriving any day as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calling Hours will be held on Sunday, September 24th from 3 to 6 P.M. at the Still Oaks Funeral and Memorial Home, 1217 Suncook Valley Highway in Epsom. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 A.M. on Monday, September 25th at St. John the Baptist Church in Allenstown. Interment will follow at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jeanne’s memory to the charity of your choice.
