Herve A. Verville, 77 of Pembroke, passed away on Friday, April 13, 2018 at Concord Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on August 24, 1940, he was the son of the late Herve L. and Germaine C. (Robichaud) Verville of Allenstown.
Herve was educated in the local schools and was a well-known self-employed Painting and Wallpapering Contractor. Herve was one of a kind, known for his ability to sit back and take it all in, he would chime in with an unexpected one liner that would amuse the people around him. He cherished his times spent with family and vacationing with friends. Some things in life that brought him happiness and peace were a good book, ice cream, going to the beach, watching Red Sox games, playing cribbage and getting his hands on scratch tickets. He was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Church in Allenstown and served for many years as a Eucharistic Minister.
He is survived by the love of his life, Lynne (Champagne) Verville of Pembroke with whom he shared 54 wonderful years, his sons, Richard Verville and his wife Christy of Epsom, Stephen Verville of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Brian Verville and his fiancé Elisa Vocca of Epsom, sisters, Jeanne Caron of Hillsboro and Grace Phillips and her husband Robert of Pembroke, grandchildren, Benjamin Verville of Manchester and Michael Verville and his wife Molly of Epsom, and great granddaughter, Emma Verville, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2018 from 4:00pm-7:00pm at the Petit-Roan Funeral Home, 167 Main Street, Pembroke. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 20th at 11am at St. John the Baptist Church, Allenstown. Interment will follow at St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Allenstown.
