Gail R. Farley

PEMBROKE – Gail R. Farley, 56 of Pembroke, passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 following a courageous battle with cancer.  Born on February 22, 1962 in Manchester, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Fleurette (Nadeau) Gagne.

 Gail was educated in local schools and received her certificate in Travel and Tourism.  She worked in the travel industry for over twenty years working at and then becoming the owner of Travel Plus in Windham.   She later went on to work as an interior decorator followed by working for Keach-Nordstrom Associates in Bedford.

She was a member of the Pembroke Women’s Club for many years and enjoyed throwing parties for the ladies.  She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Pembroke Fire Department. She enjoyed anything to do with interior design, sewing, cooking, planting, antiquing and being a part of family gatherings.

She is survived by her husband, Pembroke Fire Captain Robert Farley of Pembroke; daughters, Haley Harper of Pembroke, Kelsey Harper of Pembroke, Katharine Tepper and her husband Clinton of Los Angeles, Dr. Jessica Farley and her husband Nicholas Doriean of Australia and Heather Staples and her husband Joseph of Okinawa; her siblings, Alan Gagne and his wife Deb of Florida, Karen Antosh and her husband Wayne of Allenstown; her grandchildren, Theo and Caslin Staples; nieces, Kara Vaillancourt of Concord, Christa Pelissier of Allenstown; nephews, Joshua Desjardins of Florida and Jeremy Gagne of Hawaii. She is also survived by her stepmother, Jeanette Gagne of Hooksett, one great niece, three great nephews and several cousins.

 Calling Hours will be held on Monday, August 20th from 5 to 8 P.M. in the Petit-Roan Funeral Home, 167 Main Street, Pembroke. A Liturgy of the Word will be held on Tuesday, August 21st at 10 A.M. in St. John the Baptist Church, Allenstown. Interment will follow at St John the Baptist Cemetery, Allenstown.
