I was sorry to hear of Evelyn's passing. She and her husband Don and their family were great neighbors of ours for many years growing up and I remember the fabulous meals that Evelyn made to bring to our house when my Dad and Mom were sick and in the hospital. My condolences to the family.

Evelyn was a lovely lady! She was a great neighbor too in New Rye! We missed her when she moved as she always sat behind us in church. I remember her endearing, gentle tap on my shoulder as she entered the pew, and her greeting of; "Hi dear!" She often brought one of her delicious coffee cakes for fellowship after church!
