Edward E. "Eddie" Saucier

ALLENSTOWN- Mr. Edward E. “Eddie” Saucier, 73, of Allenstown, passed away suddenly at his home on April 20, 2018.

Born in Manchester, he was the son of the late Alcide and Rose A. (Fournier) Saucier.  He was raised, educated and resided in Suncook for his entire life.

Prior to his retirement, Eddie was employed by Sprague Electric and Emerson Manufacturing.  He had previously been a member of the Pembroke Fire Department for many years and also assisted the Pembroke and Allenstown Police Departments with directing traffic for many years.  He greatly enjoyed taking drives to the beach and walking the shores.  Eddie also loved to detail his vehicles and doing it for others as well. He had a big heart to take care of others, like his mother who never had to go to a nursing home and numerous neighbors around him.

He was predeceased by his brother, Normand Saucier; sister, Jeanne Letendre, grandson, Dennis Jenkerson; and great granddaughter, Adeline Paquette.

He is survived by his two daughters: Linda Saucier and her fiancé Brendan Collins of Manchester and Darlene Plourde and her husband Keith of Allenstown; his sister, Lorraine Vallee of Hookett; four grandchildren, Kyle Paquette, Bryce Paquette, Jonathan Jenkerson and Nathan Tremblay, 5 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.

Calling Hours will be held on Friday, April 27th from 4 to 7 P.M. in the Petit-Roan Funeral Home 167 Main St. in Pembroke.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 28th at 9 A.M. in St. John the Baptist Church in Allenstown.  Burial will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.  To share a memory or offer a condolence, please visit www.petitroan.com
