Clyde McConnell Obituary

CHICHESTER- Clyde McConnell, 35, of Chichester, passed away unexpectedly on April 17, 2019.

Born in Concord, he was the son of Michael Martel, Sr. and Lynda (French) Martel of Chichester.  He was raised and educated locally, living mostly in Pittsfield and Chichester.

Clyde worked in the construction industry as a self-employed framer.  He was a true friend, someone that could make the best out of the worst situations.  He would give the shirt off his back and his last dollar.  He never judged anyone differently and had the words to make you laugh and feel good about yourself.  He would always remember your birthday and would show you he cared.  He loved his family, his dog Bentley and also enjoyed baseball basketball and was a great teammate.

In addition to his parents, Clyde is survived by his daughter, Alexys Corrine Anstey; his brothers, Richard Gaudreault III, Thomas-Lee Gaudreault, Samuel Berberian, Curtis McConnell, Jonathan Martel, Michael Martel, Jr., Jeremiah Martel and Christopher Martel; his grandfather, Leland H. French; his fiancé, Jamie Sullivan as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.

A Graveside Service will be held at a later date in Floral Park Cemetery in Pittsfield.  Assisting the family with arrangements is the Still Oaks Funeral & Memorial Home in Epsom.  To share a memory or offer a condolence, please visit www.stilloaks.com
