Winifred Hebert

HOOKSETT- Winifred Hebert, 84, a longtime Hooksett resident, passed away after a period of declining health on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Hanover Hill Health Care Center, Manchester.

Born on April 16, 1933 in Haverhill, MA, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Rose (Lord) Hemeon.

Winnie moved from Haverhill to Windham, NH at a young age and settled in Hooksett with her family during her teenage years. She enjoyed gardening and bird watching (passions she shared with her late husband), baking, and her Saturday night card games.

Besides her parents, Winnie was predeceased by her husband Leo "Joe" Hebert in 2015 as well as her siblings, Richard, Howard, Clarence, Robert, Gordon and Betty.

Winnie is survived by her children, Gene Hebert of Orford, Gary Hebert and his wife Kathie of Hooksett, Donna Amato of Hooksett, and Diane Hebert and spouse, Melanie Renfrew-Hebert of Goffstown, she was the beloved sister of Doris Leedburg and her husband Glenn of Merrimack.  Also survived by four grandchildren, Meghan Rae, Caitlin, Noah and Elijah; two great grandchildren, Ella Rae and Avianna as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Calling Hours will be held on Tuesday, January 23rd from 4 to 7 P.M. at the Petit-Roan Funeral Home, 167 Main Street in Pembroke. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 24th at 10 A.M. at Holy Rosary Parish in Hooksett. Interment will take place in the spring at Head Cemetery in Hooksett.
