My wife and I recently moved back to NH from CA.....As a result, we wanted to express our belated condolences to the Saucier family and friends.

I have many fond memories playing w/Russ, for the "championship" Orioles little league team, along with Norm Sr., and Norm Jr..

I guess it shouldn't be a surprise that he would be a coach.....as they say, "like father, like son".

Russ- You were an amazing guy. I unfortunately only played on your team with the Lady Cannons for one year, but it was one of the best years in my playing career because I had an awesome,. enthusiastic coach. You will be missed.

Nicole & Ray:
My deepest sympathy for the loss of your brother. Your brother did a lot with kids sports which is so important to a child's healthy development. Cherish his memories as I am sure you have many to think about. I will remember and pray for him on Wednesday, the day of his funeral. May God's blessings help you and your family through this difficult time. ----- Dan

I wanted to express my heartfelt condolences to all the Saucier family. For right now there's no detour around grief, no shortcut through mourning. However, 2 Cor.4:7 says that God can give us, "... power beyond what is normal ", to go from one day to the next. This does not mean that we no longer cry or that we forget, but it means we recover. We recover because of our hope. Jesus Christ talked about our hope in John 5:28, "... all those in the memorial tomb will hear his voice and come out ". Jesus was referring to the resurrection, this is our amazing hope! The Bible likens our hope to an anchor. Just like an anchor stabilizes a ship, our hope stabilizes us, keeps us from drowning in overwhelming sadness. 2 Cor.1:3 describes our Creator as, "... the God of all comfort ". One way that God comforts us is by moving people who care about us to give us words of encouragement that we need to hear. May the God of comfort be your comfort now during this time of sorrow.
