Paul R. Savoie

Paul R. Savoie, 88, of Allenstown, passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at his residence with his wife by his side.

Born in Manchester, he was the son of the late George and Elizabeth (Guevin) Savoie.

Paul proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and moved to Suncook with his wife Jeannette in 1954. Mr. Savoie worked for many years as a truck driver and later as a Brick Mason until his retirement. He enjoyed woodworking and his many collecting hobbies of coins, antique bottles and watch fobs.

Besides his parents, Paul was predeceased by a son, John Paul “JP” Savoie in 1983, a daughter, Francine Despres in 2012, a brother, George E. Savoie in 1956 and a granddaughter, Emily Savoie in 2014.

He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Jeannette (Chesnay) Savoie of Allenstown; son, Mark Savoie of Manchester; brother, Norman Savoie of UT; four grandchildren, Eric, Michele and Michael Despres and Stephen Savoie; five great grandchildren as well as numerous friends.
