Laura M. (Bogan) Hall

PEMBROKE- Mrs. Laura M. (Bogan) Hall, 85, of Pembroke, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2017 surrounded by her loving family following a period of declining health.

Born in Jamaica Plain, MA, Laura was the daughter of the late Floyd and Kathleen (Murphy) Bogan.  She was raised and educated in Jamaica Plain and Arlington, MA before moving to New Hampshire in 1962.  She had been a resident of Pembroke since 1968.

Prior to her retirement in 2010, Laura was employed in the Accounts Payable Department for Pitco Inc. of Bow.  She previously worked for Emerson Mills, Richard Brew, and Data General.

Laura was a devoted Catholic.  She enjoyed vacations to her summer home in Prince Edward Island and as a self-proclaimed food critic, she enjoyed going out to dinner, paying special attention to the dessert menu.  Above all, she cherished the time spent with her family.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 59 years, Dale F. Hall and her sister, Rita Lundstrom.

She is survived by her children: Mary Ellen Snell and her husband Steve of Concord, Robert Hall and his wife Lisa of Pembroke and David Hall and his wife Karen of Concord.  She was the grandmother to Katelyn Murtagh and her husband Derek, Alex Hall, Kayley Hall and Nena Hall.  She also leaves two special cousins, Buddy and his wife Flo Bogan and Joanne Bogan, her many cherished friends at Pitco, and her beloved dog, Tiger.

As requested, there will be no calling hours.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 10 A.M. in St. John the Baptist Church in Allenstown.  Burial will follow in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen at 12 Noon.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Laura’s memory may be sent to the Pope Memorial SPCA of Concord, 94 Silk Farm Rd.
