DANBURY- Mr. Howard J. Bickford, 64, of Danbury formerly of Epsom, passed away on March 5, 2018.
Born in Exeter, he was the son of Alfred and Joyce (Allen) Bickford. He was raised and educated in Epsom and resided there for most of his life before moving to Danbury 22 years ago. He enlisted in the United States Air Force and proudly served his country for six years.
Prior to his retirement, Howard was employed as a custodian for the Merrimack Valley School District. He was also a longtime supervisor for Polyclad Laminates in Franklin.
He enjoyed reading and was an avid sports fan.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Aaron Bickford of Swanzey; his sister, Mary-Jane Bickford of Epsom; and his brother, Mark Bickford of Loudon. He is also survived by two grandchildren.
A Calling Hour will be held on Monday, March 26th from 5 to 6 P.M. in the Still Oaks Funeral & Memorial Home 1217 Suncook Valley Highway in Epsom. A Funeral Service will follow at 6 P.M. Spring burial will take place at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Howard’s memory may be sent to the Pope Memorial SPCA of Concord, 94 Silk Farm Rd. Concord, NH 03301.
