EPSOM- Mrs. Elsie (Tooker) Campbell, 91, of Epsom, passed away on August 3, 2017 at the Epsom Healthcare Center after a period of declining health.
Born in Ayer, MA, she was the daughter of the late Harold A. and Blanche (Davis) Tooker. She was raised and educated in Harvard, MA. She later attended UMASS before matriculating to Burdett Business School, where she earned her business degree. She resided with her family in Harvard for most of her life before moving to Epsom in 2004.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed as an office administrator for Turner Peters Real Estate. She also served as manager of Harvard School Cafeterias for many years.
She was formerly involved with the Girl Scouts in Harvard and along with her husband, was active with the Unitarian Church of Harvard as well as many civic and town activities.
Elsie was predeceased by her husband, Robert G. Campbell, who passed away on June 23, 2017, her sister, Carol Tooker Troy and her brother, H. Albert Tooker.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan L. Campbell Boska of Concord and her sister, Edith Louise Fuller of Leominster, MA.
A Graveside Service for Bob and Elsie will be held on Thursday, August 17th at 1 P.M. in the Bellevue Cemetery in Harvard, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations in Elsie’s memory may be sent to the CRVNA Hospice Program, 33 Pillsbury St. Concord, NH 03301.
