Edward "Skip" Morris

PEMBROKE – Edward “Skip” Morris, 71 of Pembroke passed away on Sunday, May 7th, 2017 at his residence following a courageous battle with Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency. His wife and children were by his side.

Born on May 15, 1945 in Lynn, MA; he was the son of Helen (Fitzgerald) Morris of Florida and the late Edward K. Morris.

Skip worked for the Breed Family at Breed Oil in Saugus, MA and Johnson and Dix Oil in Concord, NH until he retired after 43 years.

He then started Able Office Cleaning which has served the Concord Area for the past 10 years He also contracted with Irving propane division.

He enjoyed riding motorcycles and watching the Boston Red Sox and spending time with his family. He was very handy and enjoyed renovating his properties.

Besides his father, Skip was predeceased by a son, Brian Morris in 2004.

Skip is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sharon (Murphy) Morris of Pembroke, his daughter, Alycia McAlpine of Pembroke, his son, Daniel Morris and his wife Alyza of Pembroke; his siblings, William “Billy” Morris of FL, Carol Rodriguez of RI, Sharon Litwin of MA, Gary Morris of MA, Bruce Morris of MA and Brian Morris of MA; his grandchildren, Logan Nadeau, Braden, Madison and Camden McAlpine, Andrea Morris, Phoebe and Daphne Morris as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A family service will be held from 3:00pm-3:30 followed by calling hours from 3:30pm-7:00pm on Thursday, May 11th 2017 at Still Oaks Funeral and Memorial Home, 1217 Suncook Valley Highway, Epsom.
