Calvin E. Cayes, 61 of Epsom; passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at his residence after a period of declining health.

Born on January 31, 1956 in Scottsbluff, NE, he was the son of the late Earl and Mary Elizabeth (Colby) Cayes.

Upon completion of high school, Calvin joined the United States Army and served his country proudly. Calvin was proud to be able to stay at home and help raise his children. He was employed by many years for the National Guard as a Supply Sargent and worked for several years at Precision Finishing as a forklift driver. Calvin loved to ride his motorcycle, watching wrestling or lifting weights. Cal was unique and one of a kind he was known for his crazy sense of humor, interesting conversations and loud booming voice, life was never dull when he was around.

Calvin is survived by his wife of 33 years, Jayne (DeAngelis) Cayes of Epsom, his sons, Brandon Cayes and his wife Chela, Jack Cayes and Robert Cayes and his wife Hannah, his daughters, Shannon Cayes, Nicole Olivera and her husband Derek and Joannea Coulter and her husband Justin, siblings, Bruce Cayes, Sheri Cayes, Michelle Drouin, grandchildren, Isabella Coulter, Justice Bergeron, Kelsie Cayes, Kayla, Mariah and Mia Rose Olivera, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Donald R. DeAngelis, Sr. and his wife Joanne of Concord as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Following cremation, services will be held at the convenience of the family. Donations in his memory may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, 275 Chestnut Street, Manchester, NH 03103.
