ALLENSTOWN- Aurea M. (Mulaire) Viar passed away at the VNA Hospice House in Concord on February 18, 2018.
She was born on December 7, 1924, the youngest child of John B. and Areselia (Guertin) Mulaire in Hooksett, NH. After graduating from the Carney Hospital School of Nursing she interned at Valley Forge Hospital in Washington DC where she met her future husband Aubrey, a wounded WWII patient.
She was the strength of the family, raising 4 children while also tending to her husband's life long disabilities.
She is survived by her children: James R. Viar of Canterbury, Paula J. Nepveu of Bow, Amy F. Kimball and her husband Bruce of Pembroke and Peter A. Viar and his wife Ann of Deerfield; 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
It being her request, there will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 21st at 11 A.M. in St. John the Baptist Church in Allenstown. Spring burial will take place in Holy Rosary Cemetery in Hooksett. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be sent to the Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association, 30 Pillsbury St. Concord, NH 03301.
